I love my valley! At my work every day, I have conversations with my customers, and many of them express their concerns about what is happening in our town, lake and mountains. Because of my connection with the people, my experience in business, and my varied and profound life experiences, I feel I can be a strong, valuable representative on council.
I believe in a community that has a long-term plan for sustainability; one that will continue to thrive; to protect and preserve it’s natural surroundings; and have a reliable supply of good food and clean water for it’s residents.
I believe in a community that’s livable for all. One that has the proper infrastructure in place, such as accessible streets, sidewalks and parking; one where people can get jobs and buy a house; where everyone has access to the services, like transportation and health care, that they require to continue living in their community.
I believe co-operation and innovative thinking are keys to building and maintaining healthy communities. We need to collaborate with our neighbors in the valley in order to accomplish our goals. We’ll need to be creative to come up with good solutions to the issues that confront us.
On November 15th, consider your votes carefully, and support the candidates who will work to keep our community strong!
